Steel Plastic Geogrid
Product Categorie:Geogrids
Product number:N168
Product Color:Optional
Product Sources:Suppliers & Manufacturers
Steel-plastic geogrid (also known as steel-plastic composite geogrid) is made of high-strength steel wire (or other fibers), which is specially treated with polyethylene (PE) and other additives, and is extruded to become a composite high-strength geogrid. High-strength tensile strips with rough embossing on the surface are high-strength reinforced geostrips. From this single belt, weaving or sandwiching it longitudinally and transversely at a certain distance, and using special fusion welding technology to strengthen the bonding and welding the intersection points to form a reinforced geogrid.
Product performance:
1. Steel-plastic composite geogrid has high strength and small deformation.
2. Steel-plastic composite geogrid has the characteristics of small creep.
3. Corrosion resistance and long life. Steel-plastic geogrids use plastic materials as the protective layer, and are supplemented with various additives to make them anti-aging and oxidative, and can resist corrosion in harsh environments such as acids, alkalis, and salts. Therefore, steel-plastic geogrids can meet various needs. It meets the usage requirements of similar projects for more than 100 years, and has excellent performance and good dimensional stability.
4. The construction is convenient and quick, the cycle is short, and the cost is low. The steel-plastic geogrid is easy to lay, overlap, and position, is flat, and avoids overlap and intersection. It can effectively shorten the project cycle and save 10%-50% of the project cost.
Scope of application:
Steel-plastic geogrids are widely used in soft soil foundation reinforcement, retaining walls and pavement crack resistance, and new and old road reinforcement projects for highways, railways, bridge abutments, approaches, docks, revetments, dams, slag dumps, etc.
